Manifesto is a content management system (CMS) with built-in functionality that can get your website up and running in short order. Its highly structured architecture also makes it easy to create new functionality, so it has the benefits of a solid framework as well. Written in object-oriented PHP, and using a MySQL database to store its information, Manifesto runs on the popular LAMP platform, making it easy to install on many commercial servers.

A few minutes of installation, and you're on your way. More importantly, you need only get your hands as dirty as you want -- Manifesto works as well for the novice as it does for the developer.
